love's blessing

Blessed by the vicious Goddess of Love,

You walked on stone paths untouched

Your sharp red heels and your flirtations with Time

With men that fall to their knees

Wounds like bruised fruits, infected with obsession

They gulp down wooden spoonfuls of your life and soar to the skies

As for you, you’re always bored

When you can pluck Love like blue from the Oceans,

How can the red glow of more sins entice you?

The Goddess of Love gave a blessing but you know it to be a curse,

Competition was never her strongest front.
